Why Climbing?
Because it's a fun, challenging, true teambuilding experience! Climbing is a healthy, exciting alternative to a corporate cocktail party or golf game. It's a chance to discover how your staff works together and how individuals deal with physical challenges that require mental solutions. Climbing demands that participants depend upon one another. It puts men and women on equal footing. The lessons learned during climbing activities can be used as a metaphor for problem solving in the workplace. A climbing teambuilding activity or party can be customized to fit your needs. Combine your climbing experience with a dinner afterward or a catered lunch and you will create an experience your co-workers, employers, vendors or accounts will rave about for years to come.
Corporate Teambuilding
Climbing is a natural teambuilding activity. It is goal-oriented and requires cooperation, trust and good communication skills. We prvide your organization with activites that will enhance and change the way individuals will view themselves, their co-workers and the team as a whole. Briefing and debriefing exercises help to reinforce what is learned. We can customize any program, providing a highly structured, motivational agenda or a relaxed cirriculum that highlights the thrill of climbing.
Indoor climbing involves problem solving and exercise. Climbing lends itself naturally to teambuilding since partners must depend the others cooperation and trust. It builds self-esteem and confidence, allowing partners to feel a sence of accomplishment by reaching a goal-usually the top of a wall.
The climbing routes at Boulderdash are set by course setters who design for all abilities. Regardless of the individual's fitness level, participants will finds routes they can climb.
How it Works
A facilitator will arrange a telephone conference with the team leader to assess needs and goals before you arrive. Climbing shoes, harnesses and belay devices are provided. The cost for a 3-hour teambuilding event is $60 per person.
Meeting Room Rental
We also can host your up-coming meeting in our multi-purpose room. Ample parking is available and our facility is conveniently located just off the 101 freeway. It can comfortably accommodate up to 30 participants. Chairs, tables, outlets, wi-fi and refridgerator/freezer are all included. $25/per hour and $100 cleaning deposit required.
